recently, i have also spent some time to make Umfeld easier to use. among other things there is now a dedicated repository that features a reasonable Umfeld Application Template. most notably it also contains the file umfeld.command which is a small shell script that handles most of the steps required to configure, compile and run an Umfeld Application. i just really like TUIs :)
additionally, to all you macOS operators: i have also created a ( right-clickable ) Quick Action that downloads the umfeld.command TUI into a folder of choice. this is REALLY helpful for quick sketches ( at least for me it is ;) ).

PS ( .workflow files go into $HOME/Library/Services/ and then become a Quick Action in the right-click context menu )
PPS ( files ending on .command are double click-able on macOS and open a terminal window automatically )
